What we’re looking for

As we prepare to launch our new groundbreaking product, BiLira is seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Specialist to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a crucial role in establishing/maintaining DevOps principles and ensuring the reliability of the infrastructure and CI/CD processes.

Responsibilities

• DevOps Strategy and Implementation:

• Develop and implement effective DevOps strategies to enhance the efficiency of our development and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps practices into the entire product lifecycle.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Implement Infrastructure as Code principles to automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure components.
• Utilize tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar to define and maintain infrastructure configurations.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
• Establish and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate the testing and deployment of software releases.
• Ensure the integration of automated testing into the CI/CD pipelines for reliable and consistent product releases.

• Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

• Conduct thorough risk assessments for all aspects of IT infrastructure, including security, scalability, and performance.
• Implement measures to mitigate identified risks and vulnerabilities.

• Monitoring and Logging:

• Set up and maintain monitoring tools to proactively identify and address issues in real-time.
• Implement effective logging practices to facilitate troubleshooting and analysis.

• Security and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to IT security.

• Collaboration and Communication:

• Foster collaboration between development and operations teams to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on DevOps initiatives and address any concerns.

• Documentation:

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all DevOps processes and configurations.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members on DevOps best practices.

The Ideal Candidate

• BA, MS, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with a minimum of 4 years
• Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and configuration management tools.
• Deep understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards.
• Excellent scripting skills for automation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with our stack is a plus (Node.Js, MongoDB, Typescript, React, React Native, Webpack, HTML, CSS)
• Fluent in English (Read, write and understand)
