What we’re looking for

BiLira is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be at the forefront of securing our digital assets and infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to safeguard our Web 3.0 product and associated IT systems. Your primary focus will be on DevOps security and IT security, with an emphasis on identifying and mitigating risks and vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments of our product and IT infrastructure, identifying potential vulnerabilities and threats.
• Security Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulations.
• DevOps Security: Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to integrate security into the development and deployment pipeline, including code analysis, vulnerability scanning, and secure coding practices.
• Infrastructure Security: Design and implement security measures for our IT infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
• Incident Response: Develop and maintain an incident response plan, including incident detection, investigation, and resolution procedures.
• Security Auditing and Testing: Conduct regular security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments to identify and address weaknesses in our systems.
• Security Awareness: Promote a culture of security awareness among employees through training programs and ongoing communication.
• Compliance: Ensure that the company complies with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards, and assist in audits when necessary.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and security technologies, and recommend improvements to enhance the overall security posture.

The Ideal Candidate

• BA, MS, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience in cyber security roles, with a minimum of 4 years
• Strong knowledge of DevOps, IT security, and cyber security best practices.
• Experience with security tools and technologies, such as intrusion detection systems, vulnerability scanners, and SIEM solutions.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong threat modeling skills to enable you to understand systems and what can go wrong
• Experience with cloud-native architectures
• Ability to work collaboratively and lead a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Experience with our stack is a plus (Node.Js, MongoDB, Typescript, React, React Native, Webpack, HTML, CSS)
• Fluent in English (Read, write and understand)
